It is sad, but it seems to me like the company was poorly run in the first place. Hopefully with Ubisoft’s plan to expand next year there’ll be a whole lot of jobs for them.
thieflol asked: Whats up homenerd? are you playing D3 yet? also. Whats your favorite genre of gaming? And American Muslce vs Import? :D
SUP!
I’m not, but it’s installed now :). I’ll get around to it when I have time, I really do have too many games. I’d like to finish the ones I’ve already started before starting D3. My favourite genre is - by a mile - action adventure. Nearly all my favourite games are action adventures, with the occasional RPG.
Definitely import, I’m not even slightly attracted to American Muscle cars. I have appreciation, but I’d never own one, I’d never react the same way to one as I do if I see a stanced R35 or sideways S13.
brainweighsaton asked: I was wondering how you felt about GoW: Judgement focusing on Baird? Most everyone I know is split on the choice. I personally am thrilled, he and Cole have been my favorites since day 1.
Dom was always my favourite, and after reading the books, Marcus was the most interesting/intriguing. I wouldn’t say I’m ‘thrilled’ it’s Baird and Cole, but they’re still part of the squad so I love them too. I’m happy enough just knowing it’s another GoW game, but I was hoping for Aspho Feilds - once again because I read the books.
My only issue with having a game focused on Baird and Cole is what they’ll do to their personalities. People seem to only like Baird because he’s a smart-ass and I think another game on him will play that up, which would be fine if it weren’t teamed with Cole. Cole is basically just a black stereotype exaggerated for humour. This isn’t me saying I don’t like either of them - I love them, too - I just hope they don’t under-play the serious parts of the games. I always thought being around both of them alone would kinda drive me insane, but they were needed personalities when there was just Marcus and Dom. Hopefully there’s some other personalities to even out Alpha squad, I guess.
I’ve always defended GoW when people have said “Isn’t that that horrible console game with no storyline? Just another shooter, right?” because it really isn’t, and I hope it stays that way - I hope they still take it seriously. Hey, either way I’ll play it and either way I’ll love the combat. I’m hoping for the addition of some unarmed melee incase you’re out of ammo… That’d be awesome.
Not gunna lie, though, my favourite line from any GoW game was always when Baird said, “there’s room for one more, it’s a fuckin’ party down here,” from in the sewer.
fl4ming-h0mo asked: Hi c: I was just wondering, how you have your hair cut? :oo
Hi! People ask me about my hair all the time, but erm, I don’t know sorry :/. I just get it trimmed, I’ve had the same haircut for about 7 years now. Originally I think I showed the hairdresser a picture I liked, and got it cut like that.
poohead189 asked: Honestly, I got The Witcher 2 about a week ago. I think the reason why people say that about the game is the fact that its a very very hard game. The only person you can be is a man's man, Geralt. He kills things, gets money, and then gets with b*tches, and then aside from that...well thats about it. I think people would think of it less like that if you could choose the gender or personality of your character.
You think people call the game manly because of the difficulty? That’s kind of an insult to say it’s a men’s game just because it’s hard, I mean, I’m playing on the hardest difficulty. I think it’s called ‘dark’ or something - what are you playing on, bro? I’m just going to ignore that comment and hope I misinterpreted it.
He does kill shit, but you do have the option to sneak around things - there’s also several stealth-themed missions. He is a Witcher, too, so he’s trained in the art of killing and it is his profession. I suppose I’m not seeing it as macho because it just makes sense to me, for him to be that way. He’s living in a promiscuous era, he’s a Witcher and everyone wants money. Even if you were able to be a female character it wouldn’t make sense to make her much different from Geralt, considering she’d be a Witcher in the same era. If they gave you the option to be female but cut out the sex scenes if you were, that’d just be sexist.
ryanle asked: MY DIABLO ACCOUNT HAS BEEN HACKED MY ASSHOLES. RRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE
I actually wrote an article on this. Sorry to hear D:
You have to start again, but I think Blizzard might give you your stuff back. I suggest you start playing offline, and avoid all Diablo-related web-pages (such as the Wiki). Blizzard offers a security type of thing (authenticator), but that doesn’t work either, reportedly. You basically just have to stick to the game, by yourself, and nothing else. Hardly getting your money’s worth, eh? I won’t buy it until they stop the hacks.
I can’t believe this is happening to so many people, seriously. You’d think Blizzard would be prepared for shit like this since WoW, but apparently not? It’s fucking ridiculous.
I might do an anon hour or something eventually. It was too many questions, and I feel pretty safe to say I would’ve just been spamming people’s dashboards. I didn’t even know how to respond to most of it.
